I'm a Woman by Emmy Melli

A civilization with a highly sophisticated, prejudiced, and dishonest mentality. Collectively, we build up society, and after that, women.

kind, compassionate, sensitive, loving, creative, emotional, giving and what not? my mind has so many jumbled incidents and inspirations to convey to every readers out there, when i think of a women the first instinct in my mind is mother. I came out of a woman, who raised me to be stronger everyday that woman, who within the journey of daughter, wife, turned a mother and taught me how to embrace my insecurities, flaws and be the best version of myself i can ever be.

“I’m a daughter of a women who taught me to take no injustice, support no taboo nor stigma, be a debatable anti-chauvinist”.

And a women who piss of the roots of toxic masculinity prevailing between us, and firmly questioning the misogyny existing in society, the belief which gives them the power to exploit a women in name of culture creed or regulations.

“Yes I’m a rebel for a cause, i recognize myself as that female who is ambitious, ingenious, generous. And at the same time a fire, which has the potential to burn the cattle sowed over discrimination and inequalities”.

I will be sharing a part of my story today, when I was young I was always heard around to have dreams eligible to my sexual orientation “a female”.

For instance,

Don't be noisy, don't try to compete, don't be outspoken, act like a woman, be soft and considerate, have a child, get married, and so on.

These are some retaliatory responses that all women have encountered at various points in their lives. I have encountered people who have made me feel like a woman, which has precluded me from pursuing big dreams or ambitious goals.

My biggest win points growing up were my parents, who gave me the finest of everything, they were my biggest supporters during my formative years. I can honestly state that I’ve never been in a precarious circumstance where my parents had to tell me that I’m a girl child. even when neighbours would remark that having two girls would be "simply too much of a responsibility" for my parents. But our parents never made us feel like a burden, and I can never say that they treated us differently from our brother. Up until now, they have always given us the best, and I absolutely love my parents for that.

Although the reasons for gender discrimination between us have always been on my mind, it was only through my experiences that I was able to examine them and realise that no matter who attempts to stop me, I can always fight harder with my people by my side.

A person is in reality susceptible to exploitation if they consent to it, and women in particular have been objectified for decades.

“From Objects to Equals”.

We all confronted the problem of objectification as women, regardless of how much our culture has Westernized or advanced. Eve teasing, exploitation of sexuality, harassment, and other online crimes. We can all agree that there is a disproportionately higher rate of crime against women. I am aware that some things in this world are immutable and cannot be altered.

And that makes it very essential to acknowledge the existence of female crimes and take conscious actions against them. Ignorance towards the issue can perpetuate the cycle of violence and contribute to the victimization of women. By ignoring the problem, we are sending a message that such behavior is acceptable and can continue without consequences.

The Need to end the Dehumanization of Women"

Women have been subjected to various forms of crimes throughout history. From domestic violence to sexual harassment and assault, women continue to be victims of gender-based violence in many parts of the world. Despite efforts to curb the issue, the rates of these crimes continue to soar, with being many occurrence unreported. I will not even be going towards rape, molestation. Because every time I consider it, my blood boils with intense disappointment at how inadequate we are as people.

Without women, the world would be an empty soul less place. Women have been playing a pivotal role in shaping the world since the dawn of time. The nurturers, the caregivers, the problem-solvers, and the innovators. I value every feminine energy around me, I’m sure no one in this world is powerful then a women who knows her wants, her way, her vision, and her journey.

Conclusion

There is no better aid than education, and while I agree that literacy and illiteracy have no relationship to criminal behaviour, even a moderate amount of learning can have a significant impact on the next generation.

Every youngster of the next generation needs to be taught about a healthy and solid understanding of female emotions, female masturbation, and menstruation, as well as the most vital concept of a woman’s consent.

“The Generation is our Hope”.

If not us, who else? I’m aware that no article or quote can resolve real rooted problems, but small actions can make a difference. I have a younger brother in my family, and I timely endeavor to assist him a basic understanding about how delicately simple yet strong a woman is. I try to make a small handy effort of my contribution and I think we all should do this least to have a minor long-run improvement.

“Celebrating every women, and their gravitating energy. empower a woman, and you empower a community. give her a voice, and you give her the power to change the world. women are a mark to whole human existence”.

Thankyou for reading my article, I’m a bit lost in thoughts as i start living in scenarios while I write, I just want that day, where women knows it’s safe to go out at nights. i know it’s a personal feeling but I’m a bit protective and emotional over this topic.
