||Does Sensitive behavior people more likely to develop Epilepsy?||

  • There is never really a concrete or stable explanation for a person who is struggling with epilepsy, or had a past Medical history with it. sometimes it can be medical conditions by birth itself such as Brain Stroke, tumour, head injuries, addiction or trauma can be any, and vary from people to people..

How Epilepsy affects irregular nerve activities how trauma plays a vital role in triggering Epilepsy?

  • To understand epilepsy it’s important to understand what it is and how it starts in people. so basically epilepsy or seizures occurs in people due to abnormal electrical brain activity in nerves, which doesn’t let the passing of blood, in our small nerve cells normally. it get blocked which makes the Case sufferer unconscious. Speaking about myself, I remember I was 13 years old when I first had my seizure attack. while playing outside with my friends, for first few years it was never normal to me, i used to cry for hours after every single episode occurrence.. what we all will understand as an epileptic survival is, that situation is hard to put in words the never ending confusion , muscles twitching jerking off, and tongue bite(the most painful of all)

I was always a sensitive middle child in my family I used to take every problem, happiness and sorrow personal whether it’s related to me or not…

At a very young age i developed a deep trauma in me and relentlessly punished my own self for it , I’m never going to blame anyone here the only liable category here is the “situation” where I was too young to analyze or understand anything. and instead of talking or sharing it with any guardian personality around me, i instead choose to developed a Deep trauma in me which affected me for 10+ years of my growing in form of seizures… well My today defines me so for a today I’m Healthy, I’m Fit… I no longer have epilepsy in my ongoing medical history and I’m off medications as well..

How to Overcome epilepsy and What can help us towards having a positive mindset? đź’Ś

  • We epileptic fighters are already strong and vulnerable to understand and face any extreme served to us. but If anyday it feels hard after any seizure episode, or mental breakdown, tell yourself that I want to get fit for myself. I want to live a life where I’m not afraid of anything. i want to get rid of medications, I’m emotionally kind and it’s not a bad thing, but I will not take every trauma personal… from my personal opinion I remember the conversation i had with my neuro doctor where he told me, “ If you want to stay with medications rest of your life it is possible you can do it, but if you become adamant enough today, that i want to take conscious steps to be healthy. It will never going to Haunt you back”.

And I think it worked for me a strong decisive mindset helped me come out of my situation ,and I’m sure if we decide no one can stop us we design our life we will be choosing the themes the colors we want..

  • Another practice which helped me heal earlier was Meditation… (Chanting “Om” Everyday is more powerful then we think)🕉 whenever i was at a verge of breaking down or momentarily anxiety, I used to meditate. for me spicy food used to trigger my epilepsy so I maintained an eating routine. where I involved liquid diet, hydrating routine and removed spicy food from it…

But The most essential practice that always going to be important, is having a healthy sleep routine. now I know here we cannot maintain a fix sleep cycle. as our commitments and the never stopping wheel of life won’t be allowing us to stick on it…

But it can be this way that we try to complete atleast 6 hours of sleep. Doesn’t matter if we had epilepsy today or in past..

Epilepsy changed my life my thought process forever. and I’m never going to unlearn it, I learnt to nurture and take care of my body, as i’ll be needing it forever in my Distant future.. more then anything else, i learnt to let go many things mentally, that whether it is that important to affect my mental health? My peace? My journey? It always comes as a NO because, I learnt to selfishly prioritize myself and it aid me throughout my journey..

If you are struggling with Epilepsy today remember it’s a phase and you are stronger then this you will be fine and you will be going to bring a change for yourself 🫂
